The song from 'Kantara' has been a massive chartbuster. The climactic song has been instrumental in deepening the viewer's experience. The song, however, is accused of having been lifted from an album made by Kerala's Thaikkudam Bridge in 2015. 'Navarasam' is the title of the song that has allegedly been copied by the music director of 'Kantara'.
Bridge has accused the makers of 'Kantara' of committing copyright infringement. Ever since he threatened to sue Hombale Films, 'Navarasam' has been in the news.

Meanwhile, the Hindi version of 'Kantara' has netted Rs 24.15 Cr in India. This is going to be one of the biggest-ever Hindi-dubbed hits in the history of Indian cinema. In Telugu, the Rishab Shetty-starrer is doing great, letting the Diwali releases to play the second fiddle.
