Kangana Ranaut heaps praise on Raghava Lawrence and shares hot ‘Chandramukhi 2’ update!

Director P Vasu started a sequel to his path-breaking horror comedy flick, ‘Chandramukhi’, last year with Raghava Lawrence as the lead. Produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions, the film has Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Menon as the female leads with Vadivelu playing a pivotal role. 

Now, the hot news is that Kangana Ranaut has wrapped up her portions in Chandramukhi 2. The popular Bollywood actress shared some pictures of herself with Raghava Lawrence and penned a warm note as she wrapped up the filming. Interestingly, this is her third Tamil film after ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ in 2008 and ‘Thalaivii’ in 2021.

Kangana Ranaut posted, “As I am about to complete my role in Chandramukhi today, I find it very difficult to say bye to many wonderful people that I met, such a lovely crew I had, I didn’t have any pictures with Raghava Lawrence sir because we are always in film costumes so this morning before shoot started I requested for one, I am so inspired by sir who is popularly known as Lawrence master because he started his career as a choreographer actually as a back dancer but today he is not only a blockbuster filmmaker / superstar but also an incredibly lively, kind and wonderful human being… Thank you for your kindness, amazing sense of humour and all the advance gifts for my birthday sir … had such a great time working with you” (sic). 

Chandramukhi 2 also stars Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Ravi Maria, Srushti Dange, TM Karthik and Suresh Menon. The film’s music is composed by MM Keeravani who recently won the Golden Globe and Oscars for ‘RRR’. The other technicians are RD Rajasekar (cinematographer) and Thotta Tharani (art director).
