Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan had recently made an announcement that he is all set to revive his project Thalaivan Irukkindraan, which he had announced as early as 2008, and that this movie will be produced by Lyca Productions and Raajkamal Films International.

During the initiation of the project, it was said that the movie will have a Hindi version as well, with Saif Ali Khan teaming with Kamal Haasan, but now, the latest speculation making rounds is that Kamal Haasan might be playing the hero as well as the villain in Thalaivan Irukkindraan.

Thalaivan Irukkindraan is planned to be shot in 6 countries and the team is planning to start shooting from September. An official clarification on these speculations is expected soon. Expected to be a political thriller, this movie which will be directed by Kamal Haasan himself, will have music by AR Rahman.
