Sensational young director Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered back-to-back blockbuster hits 'Kaithi' starring Karthi and 'Master' starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. He recently announced that he will soon start shooting his next which is Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram'.

We broke the news to you first as early as October 2020 that Vijay Sethupathi is in talks to play the villain in 'Vikram'. Read : Strong 'Master' connect in 'Kamal Haasan 232'. A few days back we also broke the news to you that Fahaadh Faazil is on board the film and speculations started that he has replaced Vijay Sethupathi in the film.

However, Vijay Sethupathi in his most recent press interaction has revealed that talks are in the initial stages with him to play the chief antagonist in 'Vikram' and his combo with Kamal could happen if all goes well and the dates could be amicably finalized. He also added that with two other accomplished actors onboard if he can get on board he has to bring something special to match up.

Looks like fans are in for a multi-star treat in 'Vikram' with three monster actors Kamal, Fahaadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi sharing the screen space. Let's wait with our fingers crossed for the official announcement.
