Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who has been very actively voicing his opinions on the political developments on the state until recently has faced some personal tragedies in the past few weeks. His affectionate elder brother Chandra Haasan passed away last month and a few days back a fire accident happened at the multi-talented star's residence.

Kamal has also embroiled himself in a controversy due to his comments about Mahabharatham in his recent interview to a popular television channel. Many fringe elements have lodged police complaints against the legendary actor for allegedly defaming Mahabharatham and hurting Hindu sentiments.

At this juncture, the 'Vishwaroopam' actor has met BJP leader Pon Radhakrishnan, the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways department at New Delhi on Monday.

The senior politician and the lone central Minister from Tamil Nadu said the meeting was a courtesy call from Kamal.
