With a new, red-themed poster, it was today announced that 'Indian 2' has resumed its shoot. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has joined hands with Subashkaran's Lyca Productions to bankroll the big-ticket vigilante action drama, powered by Kamal Haasan.

"Good morning Indians, we are glad to announce that the remaining shoot for Indian 2 is commencing today! Need all of your support and wishes (sic)," the '2.0' director tweeted. The 'Vikram' actor is looking royal and majestic as Senapathy in the new poster, across which are written the words "He is Back".

The shoot begins in the Ezhilagam compound in Parrys Corner, Chennai. Portions involving Kajal Aggarwal and Bobby Simha will be shot for a few days and Kamal will join the sets later.

Ravi Varman has been roped in to carry out cinematography. Anirudh is composing the music. Rakul Preet Singh has been confirmed to be present.

Sukanya, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, Samuthirakani, Delhi Ganesh, Vennela Kishore, George Maryan, Manobala, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Vinod Sagar, Gulshan Grover, Deepa Shankar and Shyam Prasad are part of the cast. T Muthuraj takes care of the production design and A Sreekhar Prasad is doing editing.
