The trailer for 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' is out ahead of the film's theatrical release on January 14. UV Concepts and director Anil Kumar A cast 'Ek Mini Katha' actor Santosh Shoban in a relatable role in this family entertainer with shades of 'Jersey'. The 'Jersey' reference is because the wife here wants her husband to own up to his life and start working. But the sensibilities and treatment of the two films seem to be entirely different.

The initial portions of the trailer are feel-good. The male lead's father (Kedar Shankar) taunts him about his fortune. "You have got a kind-hearted father-in-law and a doting wife who can do anything for you," he says to his son. But when the wife (Priya Bhavani Shankar makes her Tollywood debut) asks him to find a job, the party ends.

Also starring Saptagiri, Pavitra Lokesh, Devi Prasad and others, the film has music by Shravan Bharadwaj.

The film's pre-release event is going to be held soon. This is the last Sankranthi release and also the first big small movie of 2023.
