We already brought to you that Vels Films International is all set to bankroll actor Jiiva in a high-budget film to be directed by Pa Vijay. As per the reports, it will be a multistarrer also featuring Raashi Khanna and Arjun with music by the little maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja.

According to sources, Jiiva is likely to go back to one of his blockbuster films, 'Siva Manasula Sakthi'. He is said to be teaming up with director M Rajesh again for the sequel of SMS after the completion of his magnum opus film with Pa Vijay. We hear that the film will be a proper sequel to SMS and not a standalone movie.

SMS is a coming-of-age rom-com starring Jiiva, Anuya and Santhanam with chartbuster music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Director M Rajesh said to an entertainment portal, "Jiiva and I are discussing working on SMS 2. However, everything is in the very initial stage. I am currently scouting locations for the final schedule of my project with Jayam Ravi.

"Its shoot will begin in June and we will be filming some major sequences in Yercaud and Chennai. Only after completing this project, I will start working on my next," added the filmmaker. Siva Manasula Sakthi has a huge fanbase among the 90s kids and the sequel might give a big break for Jiiva once again.
