Ahead of the film's release on December 1, the makers have released a new trailer of 'Jawaan'. Jai (Sai Dharam Tej) is busy wooing Bhargavi (Mehreen), who herself is going to take the lead in romance in due course of time.

Since the film is also a semi-family entertainer, the hero is also seen pulling the legs of two kids.

Writer-director BVS Ravi is banking on the gripping narration in the second half. Further, he says that the film's two backdrops have never been explored in Telugu cinema. They are: the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) backdrop in which the main plot unfolds, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh background of the hero.

The villain's role is played by Tamil actor Prasanna. Music is by SS Thaman.
