'Sarkar', set to hit the screens on November 6 in both Telugu and Tamil, stars Tamil superstar Vijay in the lead. Ever since its Teaser was unveiled recently, speculations about its probable storyline have been doing the rounds.
Vijay's character plays a corporate bigshot in this AR Murugadoss directorial and he visits India to cast his vote. However, some game-changing events (either planned or unplanned or both) happen now.
Vijay files a petition against the election as his vote was cast illegally by some other person. The court gives its verdict in his favor and that somehow leads to re-poll in that particular constituency.
Some more stunning incidents happen, eventually leading to a stage where the hero has to take up the Chief Minister's office. How the re-election in just one out of 234 constituencies (in Tamil Nadu) leads to the fall of the government forms the crux of the story. The superstar has clarified that he is not playing a CM in the film. So does that mean he propels some other representative to the top post?
Produced by Sun Pictures on a grand scale with the music score of A.R.Rahman, this one is expected to be a crazy hit.
