The Indian cricket team under Virat Kohli is currently touring New Zealand and is playing five ODIs and three T20Is there. The Kiwis have a reputation of being formidable on their home turf but the men in blue have beaten them comprehensively in the first two fifty over matches and at the time of this writing are aiming at a third straight win chasing 243 putting up 39/1 after 8.4 overs.
The Eastern District Police of New Zealand has posted a funny warning message on their social media praising the Indian team stating 'Police would like to issue a warning to members of the public about the exploits of a group touring the country at the moment. Witnesses report seeing this group badly assault an innocent looking bunch of New Zealanders in both Napier and Mt Maunganui in the last week. Extra care should be taken if you are carrying anything that looks like a cricket bat or ball.
Now thats some cops who have a true sense of humour even though its their countrymen who are on the receiving end of their joke.
