Naga Chaitanya's Telugu-Tamil bilingual with Kollywood filmmaker Venkat Prabhu was announced months ago. Produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen and presented by Pavan Kumar, this one is Chay's 22nd movie.
The news is that two prominent music composers have been roped in for the project. They are Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Yuvan is known for blockbuster hits like '7/G Brindavan Colony' and 'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule'. He had collaborated with his father Ilaiyaraaja on 'Maamanithan', a Tamil film.
With dialogues by Abburi Ravi, the untitled Naga Chaitanya-starrer has Krithi Shetty as the heroine.
For the movie's launch today, the likes of Kollywood actor Sivakarthikeyan (who is debuting in Telugu with 'Prince'), Rana Daggubati and 'Akhanda' director Boyapati Srinu were present.
It was announced that the film will go on the floors in July.
Chay's next is 'Thank You', which is a Dil Raju production. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, it will hit the screens on July 8. 'Dootha', a web series, has been on the floors. Directed by Vikram, the Amazon Prime series is headlined by Chay. In the Hindi film 'Laal Singh Chaddha', Chay is playing a prominent role alongside Aamir Khan.
