Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan, who was captured by the Pakistani Army on Wednesday, is being released today at the Attari-Wagah border after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered his release as a gesture of peace on Thursday.

The latest report suggests that the Wing Commander is expected to be released at the border by approximately 6 pm IST today. Meanwhile, a massive crowd has been gathering at the Wagah border since 9 am today, awaiting the return of the brave IAF pilot.

Abhinandan was captured by Pakistan after his MiG-21 Bison fighter jet was hit by Pakistan Air Force jets near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
