Dr. Rajasekhar, the senior actor, awaits the theatrical release of 'Shekar' soon. The film is a cop thriller. Soon, the 'PSV Garuda Vega' actor and his wife, Jeevitha, are going to appear on 'Alitho Saradaga', the ETV talk show. On the show, Rajasekhar shared a horrifying experience.
"A week before 'Shekar' was supposed to go to the floors, my husband contracted Covid-19 (in 2020). He was in the ICU for a month," Jeevitha said. At this, the 'Kalki' actor added that he had lost all hopes and thought that he would die. "I was prepared for my funeral pyre to be lit," he added, getting emotional. Jeevitha turned teary-eyed, saying that the situation was really critical.
Fortunately, the actor recovered and is now hale and healthy.
The couple is confident that 'Shekar' will become a hit. Jeevitha said that the movie will unveil a new Rajasekhar. She has directed it herself.
Talking about personal matters, Jeevitha revealed that her husband calls her Kutty. Rajasekhar recalled the days when he was yet to fall in love with Jeevitha. "The producer of one of my films showed me Jeevitha's photo and told me she would be the heroine of my film. I told the producer that the heroine has to be changed as she doesn't suit the script. Instead, I was changed," Rajasekhar revealed in a humorous way.
