Megastar Chiranjeevi may have donned the most versatile roles over more than 30 years and in a career spanning 150 films, but he feels sorry that he never got to do a Bhagat Singh biopic. The revolutionary freedom fighter, a household name in India, inspires patriotism in millions of youngsters to this day. This iconic personality has come to be played by the likes of Ajay Devgn and others from time to time.
However, Megastar regrets the fact that, for some reason or the other, he could never play the charismatic hero. Since Bhagat was hanged to death when he was all of 23, it's impossible for an actor of Chiru's age to play him now.
That desire will remain unfulfilled forever.
However, as an artiste and a Telugu man, Megastar will always be proud of telling the less-known story of another freedom fighter from Rayalaseema: Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
