Popular Hollywood actor Allen Garfield, well known for his performances in movies such as “The Conversation” and “Nashville,” passed away yesterday in Los Angeles. The 80 year-old actor had passed away due to Coronavirus infection.
Allen Garfield’s sister Lois Goorwitz revealed that there were health complications due to covid-19. Mr. Garfield was living at the Motion Picture Television Fund Home, the retirement facility in Los Angeles and many staff and residents there had tested positive for coronavirus.
Allen Garfield started his career as a boxer and a sports writer and later ventured into acting, starring in movies like Woody Allen’s “Bananas”, “The Candidate”, “The Conversation” etc and acted in more than 100 films.
