Legendary Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who had recently contributed 50 lakhs for Kerala chief minister’s corona relief funds, has now taken another interesting step in motivating people who are offering great services in critical times.
Mohanlal has interacted with sanitation workers of the state and has motivated them via a call. Mohanlal who is in his Chennai Home since lockdown was announced, interacted with health minister KK Shailaja and 250 sanitation workers and experts and appreciated their works.
The highlight of this one hour call was Mohanlal singing a song for them. Mohanlal sung the song “Logam muzhuvan sugam” from the 1972 movie Snehadeepame Mizhi thurakku and entertained them. Thanking all of them for forgetting their hardships and working for public welfare, Mohanlal said that the coming days are more important. During the conversation, Kannur medical college principal N Roy also reminded that Mohanlal studied with him in Trivandrum govt school and this nostalgic memory made Mohanlal happy.
