Speaking at the Pre-Release event of 'Chalo', Megastar Chiranjeevi was happy for Naga Shourya and the entire team.

"Naga Shourya tried to reach me at my office a couple of times. Because of my busy schedule, I couldn't talk to him. Since he insisted, I invited him over to my house. When he and his mother Usha garu came to me to invite to today's event, I immediately said yes. It's because I could see me in Shourya. I happened to invite a favourite star of mine to the 100-days event of a film of mine. He couldn't make it to the event as he was busy with other works. Although the event took place, it was very lifeless," Chiranjeevi said.

"I haven't seen Shourya on the silver screen. But I have seen his movie with Niharika. Shourya is handsome and impressive. New blood like him are essential to the industry," the 'Sye Raa' actor said.

"We have seen that the films of youngsters are becoming hits as much as the films of top heroes. This is a healthy development. Uyyala Jampala, Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy, Oohalu Gusagusalade, Fidaa, Shatamanam Bhavati and Hello! were all hits. Our audience are large-hearted to welcome new talent. I hope 'Chalo' will be Shourya's career-best movie," Chiru further said.

He blessed his fan, director Venky Kudumula. "I am going to tell him personally how the movie is after watching it," he assured. He was delighted to know that Sagar Mahathi, Mani Sharma's son, is the film's music director. "I had known him before only as a kid. I am happy for him. His songs are really catchy," Chiru added.
