High-Octane Action Drama ‘Peddi’ Enters Key Shooting Phase

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is gearing up to enthrall audiences with his upcoming rural action entertainer Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film has already created strong nationwide buzz, following the impressive response to its first-look posters, the dynamic First Shot Glimpse, and the chart-topping first single “Chikiri Chikiri.” The song, showcasing Charan’s trademark grace and electrifying screen presence, has taken social media by storm and emerged as a global sensation.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being made on a lavish scale and promises a high-octane cinematic experience. Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor joins Ram Charan as the female lead, further elevating the film’s appeal.

The team is set to begin a major new shooting schedule tomorrow in Hyderabad, where several important scenes will be filmed. Portions of this schedule are also planned to be shot in Delhi. The production is expected to continue until the end of January, by which time the entire talkie part of the film will likely be completed. All production activities are progressing smoothly, and post-production work is advancing at an efficient pace, keeping the project firmly on track.

The presence of Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a crucial role adds significant weight to the narrative, while experienced actors Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma appear in key supporting roles. On the technical side, Peddi brings together a powerhouse team, including Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, celebrated cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, National Award–winning editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Avinash Kolla, whose meticulous work is shaping the film’s richly detailed world.
