TN Health secretary salutes doctor who died due to Coronavirus!

Doctor Simon Hercules, a 55-year-old neurosurgeon who had tested positive for Covid-19 before two weeks, died yesterday in Apollo Hospital. It was also announced later that few more frontline workers including six doctors, two nurses, a policeman and two journalists had tested positive for Coronavirus.
Doctor Simon Hercules who heads New Hope Hospital died of cardiac arrest at 6.15 PM. He had been given aggressive therapy and was on ventilator support but as said by a treating doctor, he had a cardiac arrest following which he could not be revived. While the source of infection of doctor Simon wasn't known, his daughter who's also a doctor had tested positive for Coronavirus infection.
Paying a tribute to the services of Doctor Simon Hercules, Tamil Nadu State secretary of Health and family welfare, Dr Beela Rajesh tweeted "Saluatations to Dr. Simon Hercules for his exemplary service in the fight against Covid19. Let us stand by each and every healthcare worker, they are the real heroes."
