Starlet Githanjali, who has played character roles in a number of south Indian movies, has lodged a complaint with the Cyberabad crime branch. She has alleged that some unknown miscreants have been harassing her via dating apps.

As per media reports, Githanjali found out to her shock that her identity was stolen and her photos were uploaded on a few dating apps. She has been receiving phone calls from unknown numbers of late. Miffed with the development, she decided to approach the police.

Githanjali is not aware of the identity of her harassers. The police are currently investigating to establish who has been trying to abuse her. She has urged the police in her complaint that strict action has to be initiated against her harassers.

It's usually those in the know who resort to such abuses. It seems the offenders outed her phone number on dating apps. Usually, in such cases, the police question a few suspects after eliciting information from the victim.

A lot of actresses and starlets are victims of morphing. Several low-end dating apps allow morphed and pornographic content to be used. Such things usually don't come to the attention of the concerned person.
