The New Year 2020 is born bringing with it new hope for a better future and both the stalwarts of Tamil cinema Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have extended their wishes in their own inimitable styles. The Superstar kept it simple and spiritual writing "Wishing everyone a very happy new year #2020 ... god bless".

Kamal in his unique style wrote in Tamil that the New Year is not only for shaking hands and exchanging wishes but if everyone unites to fight for the right the Tamil Nadu that Bharathiyar dreamt of will become a reality. He also reminded his followers that the New Year would also turn out to be a victorious one for them.

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions is hitting the screens on January 9th. Kamal Haasan is now on a break recouping from a leg surgery and will resume shooting for 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar from February first week.
