Ganja Karuppu was introduced to Tamil cinema by director Bala as a comedian and he peaked with Ameer’s ‘Paruthi Veeran’ after which there was no looking back. However, after entering film production Karuppu lost out on a lot of money and went into oblivion for a few years.
Later on the ‘Bigg Boss’ season one Ganja Karuppu came back into the limelight and is currently starring in a few films. At this juncture the comedian has decided to enter full time politics and has joined the AIADMK becoming a member after meeting the Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy.
