Satirical entertainer Gaayapadda Simham, headlined by Tharun Bhascker, has completed its censor formalities and secured a U/A certificate, paving the way for its theatrical release on May 1.
The film is directed by debutant Kashyap Sreenivas and is positioned as a sharp political satire. Drawing inspiration from the deportation policies associated with Donald Trump, the narrative blends contemporary themes with humor, with the makers promising a consistently entertaining ride.
The film features Manasa Choudhary and Faria Abdullah as the female leads, while JD Chakravarthy takes on the antagonist’s role, adding further depth to the ensemble cast.

Gaayapadda Simham is jointly produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal under the banners of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios.
With its topical premise and satirical tone, the film is aiming to strike a balance between humor and social commentary as it heads for release.
