From Dubsmash to female lead!

Dubsmash is nothing less than a fad.  From fanboys and amusement-lovers to aspiring artistes have used it to either pay a tribute to their favourite star or showcase their talent.  One such girl, who shot to fame only thanks to Dubsmash, is now on her way to striking gold on the silver screen.

Mrinalini, who is extremely popular in social media for her dubsmash videos of dialogues and songs of various heroines from Tamil films, has now become a heroine herself.  Mrinalini will be playing the lead role in a film ttled as 'Nagal', to be directed by debutant Suresh Kumar.

The director has stated that the film will have only one character which is that of Mrinalini. It will be a very challenging role to play. Her character travels from one place to another and the incidents she encounters during the travel forms the crux of the film.

Surely, the example set by Mrinalini will inspire many aspiring actresses and actors.
