Freedom At Midnight is one of the interesting historical shows premiering on Sony LIV currently. The show is inspired by the book Freedom At Midnight, written by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre. In the series, the makers tell us the story of the last year of the British Raj along with other important historical events like the appointment of Lord Mountbatten of Burma and the demise of Mahathma Gandhi.
The series covers the important events surrounding India's independence in 1947. The series is getting a huge applause from the viewers across the globe now.
