Foxconn is going to set up one of the largest investments in the Electronics sector in India in Telangana. As per the government, it is going to result in the creation of one lakh direct jobs for youngsters.
In a jubilant tweet, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao said that he is super stoked to announce a mega investment by Foxconn that will create employment for a whopping one lakh youngsters in the State. "The announcement is made after the Chairman of FoxConn Mr Young Liu met with Hon’ble CM Sri KCR Garu at Pragathi Bhavan today," he added.
As per a report, the State has readied a 250-acre land parcel on the outskirts of the city for the purpose of the investment.
Recently, the company said that it will continue to build an "ecosystem in India allowing all our stakeholders to share, collaborate and thrive."
A prototyping laboratory has come up in Hyderabad at the IT hub of Raidurg. The facility has brought out 1,000 components, prototypes/products thus far.
