For Nag, audience are masters & awards secondary

Of all the places, Akkineni Nagarjuna has chosen the Trailer of 'Hello!' to say that audiences are the true masters and awards can't have a precedence over them!  This was needed because 'Manam', a film that will always be precious to the Akkinenis, was allegedly given a raw deal by the Nandi awards committee this year.

'From the makers of 'Manam'.  To which you awarded your hearts'.  These words, mentioned as opening credits in the trailer, have to be seen as coming straight out of Nag's heart!

As against the outspokenly dissenting notes struck by Gunasekhar, Nallamalapu Bujji, Ram Gopal Varma and Posani over the issue, Nag has made a hard-hitting statement while thanking the audience.

It will be interesting to know if, despite public reception mattering more, Nag was hurt that 'Manam' didn't get its due at Nandis!
