Things don't seem to be going right for US President Donald Trump at the moment. Following his loss in the presidential elections to Democratic nominee and President-elect Joe Biden, a former aide to the incumbent First Lady Melania Trump has claimed that she is "counting every minute" to divorce Donald Trump as soon as he is out of the office.
A British tabloid had quoted a former aide to the White House as saying that Melania is allegedly waiting for Donald Trump to concede defeat and leave the White House before she can end her 15-year-long marriage with him. "Melania is counting every minute until he is out of the office and she can divorce," Omarosa Manigault Newman was quoted in the report. Calling their relationship a "transactional marriage", the report added that not all was well between the President and the First Lady. Another former aide of Trump allegedly said that Melania was "negotiating a post-nuptial agreement to ensure her and Trump's son Barron gets an equal and proportionate share of the Trump fortune."
Meanwhile, democratic candidate Joe Biden won the presidential elections that began on November 3 after winning the overall electoral college vote tally with more than 270 electoral votes. Biden, who also won the Popular Vote, received more than 74 million votes, 4 million more than Trump, and more than any other presidential candidate in the history of the US. Trump has refused to acknowledge his defeat and is exploring legal options to challenge the results.
