Vijay Sethupathi's first Bollywood web series 'Farzi' which started streaming on Amazon Prime Video from February 10th has created history as the most watched Indian show ever. The streaming giant confirmed the news on social media and creators Raj and DK have thanked the cast and crew and fans for the milestone.

Shahid Kapoor plays a common man turned notorious counterfeiter Sunny while Vijay Sethupathi plays Michael Vedanayagam a Tamilian Special Task Force officer who is obsessed with bringing them down. The series has garnered positive reviews from both critics and viewers alike and especially Shahid and VJS have received high praises for their stunning performances.

'Farzi' has in the cast Raashi Khana, Kay Kay Menon and Regina Cassandra. There is already talk of a possible second season. Raj & DK are currently directing the Indian version of the Priyanka Chopra starrer web series 'Citadel' that has Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles.

Vijay Sethupathi's new movie 'Viduthalai 1' directed by Vetrimaaran is releasing worldwide on March 31st to high expectations. The film has Soori and Bhavan Sre as the lead pair supported by Gautham Vasudev Menon and Rajeev Menon with Ilayaraja scoring the music and bankrolled by Elred Kumar's RS Infotainment.
