'KGF' is a prestigious film franchise in Indian cinema after the magnum opus 'Baahubali' saga. Both KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2 became industry hits. Especially, the sequel crossed the 1000 crores mark at the box office.

Now, it has been reported that the veteran Kannada actor Krishna G Rao, who played a small role in the KGF franchise passed away on Wednesday. He was famous for his stint in KGF for playing the character of a blind man. Post the release of KGF Chapter One in 2018, he acted in 30 films.

Reportedly, Krishna G Rao was ill and his family members admitted him to Vinayaka Hospital near Sita Circle, Bangalore. He was being treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital due to a lung infection. The actor died due to health issues in Bangalore on December 7.
