Dulquer Salmaan’s Big-Budget Action Thriller ‘I Am Game’ Locks Release Date

The makers of Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited pan-India action thriller “I Am Game” have officially announced the film’s release date. Mounted on the biggest budget of Dulquer’s career so far, the film is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 20, 2026.

Currently, dubbing and post-production works are progressing at a rapid pace. The film is being produced under Dulquer Salmaan’s home banner Wayfarer Films.

Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, the movie has been extensively shot across more than 100 locations in South India. Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese are jointly producing the project, while Shahabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran have penned the story.

“I Am Game” is being touted as one of the biggest and most ambitious productions ever made in Malayalam cinema. Dulquer will be seen in an ultra-stylish and mass-heavy avatar in the film. The actor himself had earlier described it as the most stylish movie of his career.

The film also marks the next major project from Wayfarer Films after the blockbuster success of “Loka.” Previously released first-look and second-look posters generated tremendous response across social media platforms. Notably, “I Am Game” also marks Dulquer Salmaan’s milestone 40th film.

The makers promise a thrilling cinematic experience unlike anything Malayalam audiences have witnessed before. Alongside Dulquer, the film stars Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in key roles.

Music for the film is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the high-octane action sequences are being designed by popular stunt choreographers Anbariv.

Following the blockbuster success of RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, this marks the next directorial venture of Nahas Hidhayath, further increasing expectations around the project.

“I Am Game” will release as a pan-India film in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
