While director Vetrimaran`s Visaranai` made the Tamil film industry as well as Tamil film buffs proud by fetching the an award in Venice International Film Festival held last week, another film that was screened in the festival is also a matter of pride for Tamil film fraternity.

A documentary on the enormous fan following of our beloved Superstar Rajinikanth was screened in the festival. This film titled as For the Love of a Man` deals in detail about the gigantic celebrations in front of cinema theatres during the release of Rajini films in Tamil Nadu and other places. It also captures the mentality of Rajini fans that would make them do anything in order to prove their affection and loyalty for Thalaivar.

The film was screened on September 4 under the documentary section and was liked by international audience and critics. The film was made by Netherland based filmmaker Rinku Kalsy who met hundreds of Rajini fans across Tamil Nadu and other places for the past four years to make this documentary.
