Aishwarya Shankar, the daughter of legendary filmmaker Shankar married Rohit Damodaran, a TNPL cricketer, in a lavish private wedding ceremony yesterday. MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and his son MLA Udayanithi Stalin were among those who attended the wedding in Chennai.
The 2.0 director thanked the Honorable Chief Minister MK Stalin for taking the time to be present at his daughter's wedding and making it a memorable.

Talking about his upcoming films, apart from the unfinished 'Indian 2,' Shankar is currently working on a Hindi adaptation of 'Anniyan,' starring Ranveer Singh, as well as Ram Charan's first pan-India film.
