Director Seenu Ramasamy who is from the Balu Mahendra school is one of the highly rated filmmakers in Tamil cinema who has constantly strived for clean family entertainers with strong messages. His hitlist includes 'Thenmerkku Paruvakaatru', 'Neerparavai' and 'Dharmadurai'.

Seenu Ramaswamy's facebook page had the information that he got married yesterday and it caused a sensation among his followers. He has clarified that he got married thirteen years back and is leading a happy life with his wife and daughters. Seenu has further added that the mistake happened when he downloaded an update.

Seenu Ramasamy's next release is expected to be the long-delayed 'Maamanithan' produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja and starring Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie Shankar and Guru Somasundaram.
