Arunraja Kamaraj has donned several hats in Kollywood that of a comedian, singer, song writer, screenwriter and director.  He made a solid debut with 'Kanaa' starring Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role and produced by his childhood buddy Sivakarthikeyan.

In May, 2021 Arunraja's wife Sindhuja passed away in a shocking manner due to COVID 19 infection.  She along with her husband were under treatment at a private hospital in Chennai where she unexpectedly succumbed to the deadly virus.

A devastated Arunraja had penned a long emotional note at that time which pained the hearts of those who read it.  Today the acclaimed filmmaker has taken to Twitter and has shared his wedding pics and wrote a wish in Tamil to his late wife.  Fans are consoling him on his timeline for his irreparable loss.

Arunraja Kamaraj has completed his second movie 'Nenjukku Neethi' produced by Boney Kapoor which is the remake of the Hindi super hit 'Article 15'.  The film has music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and is cinematographed by Dinesh Krishnan and edited by Ruben.  Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tanya Ravichandran, Aari Arjunan and Shivaani Rajasekhar are the main stars.
