Malayalam superstar Dileep who has been in jail for the past 50 days in the young actress kidnap and sexual assault case was denied bail for the second time yesterday. The court reasserted its earlier stand that there is prima facie evidence against the alleged mastermind of the crime and if he was let out witnesses could be influenced.
Dileep’s counsel had claimed that the police had arrested Dileep on the words of the criminal Pulsar Suni but the prosecution strongly put forth that they have multiple evidence in the form of statements of various witnesses and details of phone call records that corroborate the role of Dileep.
