Actor Dhanush is not new to singing. He has started singing in films from a very early stage of his career. The first song he crooned was the super hit kuthu number 'Naattu Sarakku' in the film 'Pudhukottayilirundhu Saravanan' that released in 2004. The 'Kolaveri da' number he wrote and sung for his 2012 '3' film become world popular and that made him an even more sought after singer in Kollywood.

Now Dhanush who is presently busy shooting for 'Vada Chennai' directed by Vetrimaran has crooned a Telugu song for the first time. This is for the Sai Dharam Teja starrer 'Thikka' under the musical score of S.S.Thaman. This is also Thaman's first association with Dhanush.

However this is not Dhanush's first song in an other language film. He has already crooned a song in the Shiva Rajkumar starrer Kannada flick 'Vajrakaya' that released last year.

We hope Dhanush becomes more and more popular as a singer and other languages too and becomes a Pan Indian singer soon.
