Dhanush ‘Raayan’ locks a new release date in July? Two movies to take over the film’s previous release date?

We all know that Dhanush’s 50th film, ‘Raayan’, was initially slated for a June 13 release. However, recent reports suggest that the movie’s release has been postponed, though no official confirmation has been made. According to sources, ‘Raayan’ is now expected to release close to Dhanush’s birthday.

‘Raayan’, also known as ‘D50’, is now scheduled to storm the screens on July 26th, just in time for Dhanush’s 41st birthday on July 28th. Sun Pictures is expected to announce the new release date officially in the coming days. According to recent sources, Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film will have a grand release on the initial release date of ‘Raayan’, June 14th.

Additionally, director R Parthiban’s ‘Teenz’ might also hit the screens in the second week of June. Dhanush both directed and starred in ‘Raayan,’ an intense revenge action drama. According to industry insiders, ‘Raayan’ is shaping up to be a tremendous film, markedly different from Dhanush’s directorial debut, ‘Pa Paandi’. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman.
