Actor Dhanush's 'Thodari' directed by Prabhu Solomon was first supposed to release in July and later Dhanush himself confirmed that the film will be releasing in August.

While there were different speculations suggesting that the film will hit the screens on August 12 or August 19 now it has become certain that the film will no release this month.

However fans and film buffs who are eagerly awaiting the film's release have some good news as the makers have officially confirmed that 'Thodari' will hit the screens on September 2 for the Vinayakar Chathurthi festival weekend.

It is worth noting that actor Vikram's much expected stylish action entertainer 'Iru Mugan' is also expected to hit the screens on September 1 or 2.

Actor Sasikumar's 'Kidari' directed by Prasath Murugesan has also confirmed its release in September but the date is yet to be finalized.

This would mean that the Kollywood box office is all set to see a grand head to head clash between the two National award winning stars Vikram and Dhanush.
