As we had reported earlier today, Dhanush's 'VIP 2' has taken a Huge opening in Chennai city collecting over Rs.1.5 crores from theaters within the city limits in its first three days of release. Now we bring you the collections made by this Soundarya Rajinikanth directorial from theatricals across Tamil Nadu state in its first three day weekend.

According to Box Office trade sources. 'VIP 2' has collected around Rs.12 crores in its first weekend. This includes Chennai's share of Rs.1.53 crores, Chengalpet has contributed Rs.3.5 crores, Coimbatore theaters have collected Rs.1.8 crores and the theaters in Thirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts have garnered Rs.53 lakhs.

'VIP 2' has made a fantastic collections across TN from its first weekend. With positive reviews, the film is expected to collect more in the coming days.
