It's known that choreographer Siva Shankar has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad after he caught coronavirus. The first celeb to react to the news and come out with a helping hand is actor Dhanush.

It's learned that the versatile star has donated Rs 5 lakh to the family of the choreographer towards meeting the high medical expenses. The 'Jagame Thandhiram' star has been lauded for his noble gesture. Dhanush's team is in touch with the patient's family, knowing about the developments in treatment. Shankar's colleagues are praying for a speedy recovery.

Siva Shankar is being treated at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad. Yesterday, Megastar Chiranjeevi has done his bit to help the family of the critically-ill patient tide over the crisis by giving Rs 3 lakh to his elder son Ajay Krishna.

As for Dhanush, he is one of the most happening Southern actors. Director Sekhar Kammula has teamed up with him for his next movie, which is a pan-India flick. Venky Atluri, too, is going to direct a movie with him as the hero.
