We already brought to you that Dhanush announced his third directorial project yesterday. The film is said to be a youthful romantic drama titled 'Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam'. This venture also marks the return of Dhanush's production house Wunderbar Films. It is co-produced by RK Productions.

The upcoming movie stars Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon and Ramya Ranganathan with Dhanush appearing for an extended cameo. GV Prakash scores music for 'Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam' with DOP by Leon Britto and editing by Prasanna GK.

Now, the latest news is that this film was supposed to be directed by someone else initially. 'Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam' was planned to be directed by Dhanush's ex-sister-in-law Soundarya Rajinikanth in 2016. The makers had even put out a casting call for the project which is now being reshared by the netizens.

An old video interview of Soundarya Rajinikanth is going viral on social media now. In the video, she reveals that the script of 'Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam' was written by Dhanush. She added that the film was shelved back then as they weren't able to find the right cast. Soundarya and Dhanush ended up doing 'VIP 2' under Kalaippuli S Thanu’s V Creations back then.
