Dhanush’s new avatar in ‘D51’ sparks excitement among the fans! – Title and first look out

Back in 2022, Dhanush’s collaboration with the National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula intrigued a lot of fans. The shooting for this film commenced this January finally. Tentatively called ‘D51’, the title and first look of this film debuted today, marking the special occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

Dhanush’s Pan-Indian venture, ‘D51’, is officially titled ‘Kubera’, which means the treasurer of gods according to Hindu mythology. An extremely wealthy person is often referred to as ‘Kubera’. But the first look shows Dhanush as a poverty-stricken man, a beggar. We can see a painting of Lord Shiva begging for food from Annapurna (Parvati) in the background.

The team launched the first look in both poster and video format. This film features Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Jim Sarbh in key roles. We hear that ‘Kubera’ is a story about the Mumbai Mafia. The technical team comprises Devi Sri Prasad as the music composer and Niketh Bommi as the cinematographer. This is a joint production of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigo Creations.
