With the advent of monsoon, we should be a little more cautious about the spread of dengue as well. This year too, the dengue fever seems to have started spreading in regions of Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai.

Due to dengue fever, 7 have been admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi government hospital, 2 to Kilpauk government hospital and in Egmore’s children hospital 8 have been admitted which amounts to a total of 17 people. Reportedly a 9-year-old boy named Saravanan has already lost his life due to dengue.

So the ministry of health has advised visiting the hospital if you doubt any dengue symptoms. Not to mention that we have to keep our surroundings clean and mosquito free.
