Three times champion of the IPL and one of the most favorite teams the Chennai Super Kings was in for a shock as two players Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad and eleven other support staff tested positive for the COVID 19 last week and are in isolation.
Meanwhile, the mandatory coronavirus tests were conducted on the rest of CSK and all the results have come up negative which is very good news for the team. It is said that the team will begin net practice from this evening (September 4th).
Those who are being treated under quarantine will undergo their next tests after the fourteen day quarantine period is over and will join the team based on the results. The tournament will be conducted in a bio bubble atmosphere and is considered to be safe for all concerned.
