At a time when the services of frontline personnel are indispensable, an actress has volunteered to render free services at a helpline in Kerala.

She is Nikhila Vimal, the Mollywood actress who has gone the extra mile by working at a call center in Kerala to coordinate with the relief materials and essential commodities needs of people.

The 'Meda Meeda Abbayi' and 'Gayatri' actress, who hails from Taliparamba, worked at the district panchayat's call centre in Kannur. The particular call centre is operated to coordinate the essential commodities supply to houses as lockdown has been implemented. Nikhila spoke with people who had called the call centre to seek help on essential commodities.

Last year, Nikhila was seen as Karthi's pair in 'Donga' ('Thambi' in Tamil), the thriller.
