Director Bala’s ‘Naachiyaar’ teaser stirred controvery when the film’s leading lady Jyothika mouthed swear words at the end of the teaser. In regards to this, a case was filed against the director and the actress by Dalit Pandiyan.

The complaint filed by the petitioner stated that the actress’s dialogue has become a reason of disconcert and hurt for people and hence severe action must be taken against director Bala and actress Jyothika by the court pertaining to this matter.

However, when the case came under trial today, the court asked Pandiyan to come up with a list of people whose sentiments were hurt and affected by the teaser as said by the petitioner in his complaint. Moreover the court adjourned the case to a later hearing on January 11.
