The deadly coronavirus pandemic, probably the worst in modern history has already claimed close to 6000 lives and has infected around 2 lakh people around the globe. In India it is reported that 107 have been affected and two killed. Tami Nadu so far has not reported any cases with the suspected already quarantined.
In the wake of this extremely dangerous coronavirus threat, the Tamil Nadu government has ordered the shut down of movie theaters and malls till March 31st in the border areas of Theni, Kanyakumari, Tirupur, Coimbatore, The Nilgiris, Krishnagiri, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Tirupattur, Ranipet, Erode, Dindigul, Dharmapuri and Virudhunagar. School holiday has been declared for children from LKG to 5th standard and the public has been advised not to gather in public events till that time.
Self-hygiene of washing hands regularly with alcohol-based sanitizers or soap for a minimum of twenty seconds and keeping atleast ten feet distance to those who are showing coronavirus symptoms of fever, coughing or breathing difficulties.
