Miss England returns to work as Doctor due to Corona Crisis!

Bhasha Mukherjee, who was crowned Miss England last year, is back to the UK to work as a doctor, in the wake of coronavirus outbreak. The 24-year-old Indian-origin doctor had been working for charities activities overseas and has returned back to fight on the frontline.
Bhasha Mukherjee represented England in the Miss World pageant in December 2019 and was on a break as a junior doctor. She had been invited as an ambassadors for charity works to Africa, Turkey, India, Pakistan and many Asian countries and had initially planned a break till August.
Due to coronavirus outbreak, Bhasha traveled back from India to the UK after she got to know about the worsening situation from her old colleagues at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. Bhasha contacted the hospital's management, informing her willingness to return to work, and now Bhasha Mukherjee who holds a specialisation in respiratory medicine is self-isolating for one to two weeks before joining work.
